The day began early enough, in an encouraging morning sun.
Then the clouds came and the contrary wind blew stronger. I was slowed down. In Hudiksvall I felt tired and read on a bench.
There's an Indian restaurant in Hudiksvall.
And an "English Pub": The Bell.
The bad wind still blew, damn it, can you please blow South, is that really so complicated?
In the evening, around Söderhamn which was the aim of the day, the sun came back and automatically gave me strength. Although I felt like stopping all day long, I then cycled past two camping-grounds, unwilling to call it a day. It's always easier in the evening, these days, because of the beautiful light, the approaching aim, and the rest soon to come. I will have to do that trip again the other way round: the right thing to do is to cycle North, not as much because of the wind as because of the light. In Finland, going North, I hardly ever needed sunglasses.
But, well, I found the best camping-ground, cute, small, quiet and just by the sea.
